Clara starts community college with no clear sense of what she wants. When her best friend joins the Paranormal Club to keep it from disbanding, Clara comes along. The club's current interest is Mariposa del Sol — a building scheduled for demolition after a series of tragic accidents, said to be haunted. As Clara investigates, she finds that whatever is in the building is not reaching out to the club at large. It is reaching out specifically for her. Unraveling the building's mystery may mean unraveling something about herself that she has never looked at directly.
