The Contract Bound

A group of characters — the kind you would describe as a-holes — are sitting in a tavern, out of money and out of goodwill from their employers. They need their next job. Things are manageable until they cross paths with the Lazulai, a dangerous and equally frustrated group searching for the same potentially mythical artifact. As both parties set out to find it, the most dangerous thing they will encounter may not be the competition — it may be the secrets each of them has been carrying all along.
