The Forest of Drizzling Rain

After the sudden death of both her parents, a young woman named Shiori Kanzaki finds a photograph she believes to be her grandfather and travels to Azaka Village, where he apparently lived, hoping to meet him. She arrives to learn he has already passed — and that the family home has been converted into a museum. There she meets Sakuma, a middle-school girl who has a talent for getting into trouble; Officer Mochizuki, who regularly has to deal with the consequences; and Suga, the museum's unusual manager, who communicates exclusively through written memos.
