High Alchemist Nika Skylar has been invited as an honored guest to the Moonfaire — a state festival celebrating a rare silver moon event that occurs once per century and fuels the kingdom's magic for the next hundred years. During the night of celebration, tragedy strikes: a derailed ritual, a murder, a traitor.
