Bedman's bed continues to act independently after his death due to a program he entered in his final moments. Delilah recovers it after it intervenes to stop her from losing control. It acts primarily to protect Delilah. Capable of simple communication, but complex conversation and the storage of daily memories are beyond its abilities.
