Tohko Kujakuseki — benefactor of protagonist Yota Kawasemi — was arrested for murder and confessed. Then she was released due to lack of evidence. Unwilling to accept her back, the people around her imprisoned her in a large Western-style house. Yota, who has lost his grandmother and lives alone, moves in with Tohko. Five people share the space — cooking, talking, arguing — and Yota finds himself genuinely content. But Tohko did not commit the murder. She is protecting someone. Who is the true criminal?
