Society was not perfect, the government was frustrating, tension was everywhere. Then the authorities stopped broadcasting. The TV went dark. Electricity failed. Water stopped. You had barricaded yourself in your home, prepared for exactly this. Months passed in solitude, punctuated only by distant sounds. Then, one night, your last batteries picked up a radio signal: the community of the Reunited States is waiting in town for anyone willing to rebuild. You decide to leave overnight.
