Sometime after the events of the original SpongeBob SquarePants Movie game, Mindy sends out another call for help. At the same time, Patrick has fallen into a super ultra very deep depression. SpongeBob takes on both missions at once — crossing diverse worlds to lift Patrick's spirits and solve the mystery behind Mindy's distress call.
