The Mage Academy has assembled a two-person team to retrieve a stolen magic artifact from a vampire's castle: Astera Carras, who specializes in magic, and Hunter Falke, an excellent vampire hunter who is primarily in it for the money. The mismatches in their personalities and methods will either doom the mission or make it unforgettable.
