About This Game
Set in the zombie-apocalypse world of the original Highschool of the Dead manga and anime, Fujimi High School and the surrounding world have been overrun by undead creatures referred to in-universe as Them. Player character Takashi Komuro escapes the collapsing school with childhood friend Rei Miyamoto after his best friend Hisashi Igou is bitten and turns. The two join up with classmates Saya Takagi and Kota Hirano, kendo club leader Saeko Busujima, and school nurse Shizuka Marikawa, together attempting to survive in a hostile world. Day 0 presents an original storyline written specifically for the game rather than a retelling of the source material.
