On vacation in Pokitaru, Ratchet and Clank meet Luna, a girl writing a school report on heroes — then watch her get kidnapped by mysterious robots. The investigation leads them to the Technomites, a tiny race of brilliant engineers bitter about never receiving credit for their innovations. Their leader, Emperor Otto Destruct, has a plan to steal the intelligence of every being in the galaxy — and Ratchet's DNA is central to his scheme.
