The kingdom faces threats from multiple directions. Boglins pour out of the Endless Bog in numbers that suggest the Bog has been accumulating them for some time. Undead of uncertain magical origin rise in the less frequented parts of the realm. Aberrations exist that should not, generated by nightmares that have found a way into the waking world. The enemies are varied, each category with its own set of abilities and approaches. The brave or the foolish survive. The distinction between those two categories is not always clear until the encounter is over.
