Eevi has been hired by a mysterious trillionaire to keep the peace at a shopping mall that the trillionaire has apparently forgotten exists. The world outside has stratified completely: the wealthy departed to personal miniature Earths floating above the frozen surface, leaving everyone else behind. The mall is a relic of the era that preceded all of that, sitting on a deserted island with Eevi as its only employee. She keeps out the trespassers, deals with the pests, and, in the absence of any other agenda, explores what this forgotten place actually contains.
