When the Devil Takes Hold

James Davidson builds his audience on content from abandoned and deeply unsettling places, and a viewer tip sends him to a remote location in South Carolina with a dark history: a family was murdered on the property and their daughter was never found. The locals describe the area as cursed and want nothing to do with it. James goes anyway, camera in hand, because that is exactly the kind of place his following expects. The spirits of the murdered family, it turns out, are far more capable of making that expectation a problem than he anticipated when he decided to ignore the warnings.
