Everlasting Flowers

Sakashita Mina came to a new town to attend an all-girls high school and discovered immediately that she did not fit. Within a short time she stopped going entirely. That was a year ago, and since then she has barely left her room, passing the days staring at dried flowers and trying to accept that the space she occupies is the only one that belongs to her. Seino Ran grew up with every advantage and a life scripted by her parents' expectations, until the day she recognized that none of the people in that life actually cared about her. Both of them apply for the same live-in position at a seaside lodge. They spend the summer there, and in each other they find the first genuine trust either of them has encountered in a long time. As the summer ends, Mina is looking for a place where she can stay — and Ran's situation continues to evolve in directions neither of them anticipated when they first arrived.
