Arcane Blast

Felix Lunnoson has been Adrian's most senior student for long enough to learn where the most dangerous artifacts are kept. He locates the Sphere of Outcasts and uses it to imprison his teacher inside a time dungeon, stranding him in the ShadowVillie world — a roguelike environment where Adrian's magic has been stripped from him and must be rebuilt from scratch. Working through the world's bosses gradually unlocks the powers needed to push back toward the real world. The creatures that inhabit ShadowVillie each carry abilities that add to what Adrian can do, and the secrets buried in the world's structure, when fully uncovered, reveal the path home.
