The Tag-along Obsession

Hui-Ting was a television journalist who accompanied a team to a long-abandoned resort for a location report. While there, the group encountered red-winged death's-head hawkmoths — and the subsequent accident left Hui-Ting as the only surviving member of the crew. After recovering, she found herself unable to escape recurring nightmares, and she sought help from a series of spiritual practitioners without finding any lasting relief. The medium Mrs. Chen was the one who finally gave her an answer: a vengeful spirit had attached itself to Hui-Ting and would eventually kill her. The only way to lift the curse was to return to the resort and perform the required ritual in the place where the haunting began. Hui-Ting returns. The challenges waiting for her there, and the truths buried beneath the surface of what happened to the original crew, are what the game is about.
