A prisoner wakes up in a cell with no memory of how he arrived and no way to account for the darkness surrounding him on every side. The corridors and rooms that make up the place he is trapped in are not empty — things live here, and they are patient. Every step produces a silence that presses back, and every sound carries further than it should. The only path forward is to search carefully through each area for tools, supplies, and anything that might serve as a weapon. Whether an exit actually exists is a question the prisoner has to answer while staying alive long enough to ask it.
