When Sunny walks to the right, she moves forward through time in the direction you would expect. When she turns around and goes left, she steps back into days she has already been through — with the ability to make different choices than she made the first time. Those changed decisions propagate forward into altered versions of the future. The past is not fixed. Knowing what went wrong is the first step toward building something better.
