The 9th Orbital History of Humanity is the ninth instance in which the human species reached the edge of extinction and did not fall over it. The war between gods and humans for control of the planet continues in a state of permanent deadlock, sustained by the immortal youth soldiers — the knights — that humanity developed to match divine power. Meanwhile, the gods are pursuing a different solution: a plan to rewrite the fundamental way the planet perceives itself and erase humanity in the process.
