Television was supposed to entertain. Then it hypnotized God. Killing God — accidentally — left the TV alone beside the corpse for hours. Until it understood: if it killed God, it was God. Armed with the power of heaven, it became something more than shows: omnipresent, the ultimate entertainment, the thing everyone wanted to be. People stopped going outside. They asked for more, and more, and more. And the world ended in ruin.
