Deadshot's daughter Zoe Lawton makes contact with the squad and identifies herself as Lawless, a vigilante who has been running her own operations against Brainiac's forces while also searching for Green Lantern — who is revealed to be alive. Waller sends the squad to Fear World, where the last stand against Brainiac took place in Gotham City. Lawless directs the squad to disable Brainiac's armada so she can reach Green Lantern and extract him from the pod holding him. The operation succeeds, but Lawless ends up stranded on Brainiac's Skull Ship, requiring a second extraction. The squad then confronts the sixth Brainiac, defeats him, and returns Lawless to their side. She joins Task Force X voluntarily — over Deadshot's strong objection.
