On September 3, 1934, a truck driver passing the Rosefield Manor on the outskirts of northern England noticed a disturbing glow emanating from the old building and went to investigate. Inside, he found ten bodies on bloodstained floors and, in a bathtub filled with blood, a young girl dead with her eyes wide open. Police arrived and documented the scene. Despite extensive investigation, no answers were ever found, and the mansion was left permanently marked by an unresolved tragedy. Years later, Michael Dawson — a freelancer who specializes in sourcing antique pieces for clients — comes across a newspaper account of the manor while reviewing records at a town library. The grim history and the possibility of valuable artifacts lying undisturbed in the abandoned building are both compelling enough to bring him there in person.
