You're a fresh college grad passing the time in your parents' rural retreat before the tourist season picks up and your first job as "Junior Researcher" at a nearby wildlife-themed resort begins. Located on the outskirts of the run down backwater town called Redridge, the crickets and your empty beer bottles are your only companions. About This Game
The first canonical installment in the Half-Rats mod series. You are Ronald Henry Ellis — twenty-four years old, pre-veterinary undergrad, one-time outdoorsman who has since become underemployed, underenthused, and increasingly dependent on whatever is in the bottle. He is about to face something that everything he knows from video games, hunting trips with his father, and war films is going to be called upon to help him survive. Whether he makes it through the night is the question. Whether he makes it through unchanged is a different one.
