Count Dracula's curse on Transylvania is ancient and recurring — returned again and again over the centuries, always defeated by a descendant of the Belmont clan who rises to stop him. But the story of Dracula begins long before the Belmonts, in a time when he was not yet the devil of legend but a fanatical sorcerer who built a dark castle on the outskirts of Transylvania, summoned demons through nightly rituals, and pursued immortality by attempting to become a demon king. His power grew until a man stood up to stop him — Christopher, ancestor of the Belmont line. The castle waits, filled with demons and traps. Whether Christopher can destroy what Dracula has become is the question.
