Angelian Trigger

The Eames Detective Agency is based in Wati, a large city on the planet Galadsik, and has been struggling financially under a flood of low-stakes cases — infidelity checks, missing pets, the usual. Then an anonymous client submits a request to investigate the green planet Sarius. The warning signs are present from the start: Sarius is under the control of Planetary Industry Minister Wizria, and the client refuses to identify themselves. Detectives Mia and Sheryl take the case anyway and depart for Sarius. It turns out to be the opening move in something much larger than either of them expected.
