The Yamabiki Manor Incident — also known as the Narumisawa Landscape Painter Murder Case. Thirty years ago, on the grounds of Yamabiki Manor, the famous painter Mizuryu Uchida was murdered. The body was found by the pond in an unusual condition. An investigation followed and was closed when the suspect died. Now a group of students from a criminal psychology seminar arrives at the manor to examine the unsolved case as part of their research. The deeper they dig, the more the picture changes: new facts surface, suspects crystallize, and the emotions that the participants have been presenting as cheerful and academic begin to reveal themselves as something else entirely.
