Holy Undead

Frankel was despised throughout his community as a wicked necromancer — but the truth was simpler: he was socially awkward, unlucky in nearly every way that matters, and genuinely fond of the undead. His reputation as a necromancer was enough for society to shun him, and eventually for the heroes Cain and Flora to strike him down. Just before the killing blow, Frankel invoked a forbidden curse meant to make him King of the Dead. The magic failed. He expected to simply die. Instead, he woke up as Yuricia — daughter of Cain and Flora — with all his previous memories intact. The situation compounds: despite his private ambitions toward necromancy, Yuricia receives extraordinary divine blessings including a healing power so strong it undermines everything he tries to do with the undead. Every attempt to pursue his actual goals inadvertently helps people. Despite himself, he ends up renowned as the Healing Saint. Handsome men pursue Yuricia endlessly; Yuricia wants only rare undead materials and is completely indifferent to the attention.
