Break Point

Ethan is shy and out of his depth when his friend Chris convinces him to spend time in the campus billiards room. Sakura is the skilled and patient player who notices Ethan's first clumsy attempts and offers to help. She teaches him the fundamentals; they fall into a routine of shared practice sessions and something closer than either expected. When a doubles tournament is announced, Sakura asks Ethan to partner with her — she sees what he could become, even if he does not yet. They train seriously, build real synergy, and when the tournament arrives, take it all the way to a narrow and thoroughly earned victory.
