Deirdre

Before the start of time, a sacred realm was established to quarantine anomalies from ordinary reality. Deirdre, the Goddess of Time, ruled over this timeless limbo. Across history, those deemed unworthy — the condemned and the blasphemous — were delivered to her domain as sacrifice. The tormented majority suffered; the few who proved themselves were elevated to Deirdre's Apotheosis, reborn as her Angels. Then a group of prisoners made a discovery: the essence of spin, called Torque, fuels Deirdre's Domain the same way Time fuels existence. Weapons enchanted with Torque could actually hurt the Angels. Dokuraki, Valerie, and Ball armed themselves with it and began, one by one, working through Deirdre's defenders. Whether their rage will carry them all the way to the Goddess herself is not yet certain.
