The year is 2064. A humanoid object fell from space and was designated EX-802 — though most people simply called her Angel. She looked like a young girl in a futuristic suit. When she woke, she had no idea where she was or how she had arrived. Research established that Angel could function as a combat unit, growing stronger through the absorption of certain elements. Years later, hundreds of alien ships broke into Earth's atmosphere and were held back by the military — barely. Angel heard something in the assault that no one else could hear: a call meant for her. Her response was immediate and unequivocal. Earth had become her home. She was going to protect it.
