An Eternity Gone By

Every thirty years, monsters descend on Starblast Village — and every thirty years, everyone in the village knows to stay inside. Mirai Starblazer does not stay inside. She convinces her best friend Kako to sneak out and watch the stars, and the night immediately turns catastrophic: monsters ambush them, and Kako is abducted and taken to an unknown world. Mirai goes after her, not yet understanding what the pursuit will cost her. This rescue will not be solved in a single attempt. Each failure lets time pass, and Mirai ages with it — gaining new perspectives, new abilities, and a changing relationship to a quest that was supposed to be simple and has taken over her life.
