Transferring to Ainoshima Academy should have been the straightforward start to a new chapter. It is not. Two rival student councils are waiting at the gate, both armed with arguments for why the new student should join their side: the Gekka Council, which has existed as long as the academy and wears dark-green skirts as a mark of its tradition, and the Tendo Council, which formed more recently and leans into innovation and burgundy bolero jackets. Before the transfer, the student vote was split perfectly even. The 777th student now holds the deciding vote, which means every faction — sports teams behind Gekka, liberal arts clubs behind Tendo — is watching and maneuvering. A peaceful campus life was the plan. The cards have been dealt differently.
