Kotiha is a linear visual novel that holds a mirror up to daily life in the CIS — the humor, the absurdity, the weight of the ordinary — and refuses to look away. Equal parts satire and slice of life, it follows Zhenya, an unremarkable cashier at the local Chetyorochka, along with Uncle Zhora and Kotykha. There is no evil in this game. What it has instead is life: contradictory, sometimes funny, never entirely comfortable, and impossible to look away from.
