Alma and the Fragments of Cursed Memories

Alma is a magical researcher with no funding left for her research. The only path forward is the tavern notice board and whatever commission looks like it will cover expenses. The one she ends up with is unusually sparse on specifics. The reward money is compelling enough to override the questions the thin description raises. She sets out to meet the mysterious client and find out what she has actually agreed to.
