The Day of Ash was a cataclysm that scattered the people of every faction across a war-torn realm with no home to return to. Survival required setting aside old grievances. Generals rose to the challenge — figures like you, who gathered exiles from every faction, formed Vanguards from what remained, and led them into battle to reclaim a world that the disaster had broken apart.
