With extinction on the horizon following a sudden environmental collapse, humanity placed its final hope in a team of android explorers and launched them into the depths of space. On one of those vessels, a single android has spent twenty years traveling alone through the cosmos without a destination to call certain. Then it arrives — on an uncharted planet whose surface holds something unknown, waiting to be discovered.
