Kin is a recovering addict working through the aftermath of a long, lost period of his life — and he cannot fully account for what happened during it. He fights and parkours through the physical spaces of his own past, trying to piece the history back together while fighting the pull toward relapse. The world runs on neuros created by a corporation called Iser. Whether those neuros are genuinely the root of his addiction, or whether that is a convenient story, is a question the game takes seriously.
