The Survival Machine is your home — a massive, constantly moving platform that never stops. Upgrade its engine for fuel efficiency or mount a cannon to shred through the zombie hordes — every upgrade decision reflects a different philosophy of survival. The machine travels through forests, deserts, and tundra, and whenever you feel like it, you can jump off and go exploring on foot: hunting rare resources, clearing out the occasional zombie, or digging into this world's buried history. At night, the zombies come for the machine in greater numbers and with greater strength. Defense planning — stationary weapons, reinforced walls, strategic positioning — is the difference between a bad night and your last one.
