Trent Helms was standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking Amethyst Valley when an explosion sent him stumbling. A sword in a stone had appeared behind him — and it was already in flight toward his hands. His vision darkened. He felt himself accelerating past comprehension. When he could see again, he was somewhere new: Crystal Depths, a realm that only opens to those who have been granted the Spectral Sword — a blade that can reshape its form into bows, hammers, spears, and more.
