Skeletor has seized the mystical Ilearth Stone, granting him dominion over Castle Grayskull and allowing him to enslave the Sorceress while summoning an army of dark minions to lay siege to He-Man's stronghold. Before confronting the sorcerer's full arsenal of defenses guarding the stolen stone, He-Man must first liberate his ally Orko from a binding curse by gathering the necessary components for a counter-spell. Armed with the Sword of Power, He-Man battles through waves of enemies in a race against time, relying on a finite energy shield to withstand the onslaught as he advances toward his ultimate confrontation with evil.
