Undercover Cops is an arcade-style beat 'em up video game developed and published by Irem, originally for the arcades in 1992. It is Irem's first attempt in the modern beat 'em up genre that was founded by Data East’s Kung-Fu Master. Players control "city sweepers", a police agent-like group who fight crime by taking down thugs in New York City in the year 2043.

About This Game
When the tyrannical Dr. Clayborn seizes control of the city, a desperate police commissioner recruits three unconventional undercover operatives to reclaim the streets: Bubba, a former football star with brute strength; Flame, an ex-beauty queen with combat prowess; and Claude, a retired philosophy instructor turned fighter. The trio must battle through waves of henchmen and face off against Clayborn himself to restore order to New York. Along the way, they discover that nearly every object in their environment—from fish and rocks to steel beams and vehicles—serves as an improvised weapon in their fight for justice.
