About This Game

You must infiltrate a sprawling, pitch-black mansion to locate three fragments of an enchanted urn scattered across four floors, all while preserving your nine lives from the creatures that haunt its corridors. Navigating from an overhead perspective with only your eyes visible, you'll need to manage severe limitations: darkness forces you to strike matches to illuminate small areas around you, though wind and wandering monsters can snuff them out at inopportune moments. Hostile inhabitants—tarantulas, giant vampire bats, and a swift-moving ghost—drain your lives upon contact, though a magical scepter hidden somewhere in the mansion can temporarily shield you from their attacks. Adding to the challenge, many doors are locked, requiring you to first hunt down a master key buried among the mansion's many rooms, and since you can only carry one item at a time, you'll need to strategically drop and retrieve objects to progress. Success means assembling all three urn pieces and escaping the mansion, with your match count serving as the measure of your efficiency.
