About This Game

Brian Hammerhand arrives at a forgotten port town with little more than the clothes on his back, his arrival marked by a tavern brawl that leaves him nearly broke. A local youth directs him to Meris the Mage, who recounts the tragic history of Apshai, an insect deity whose secretive cult was driven underground by followers of the earth god Geb. The displaced Apshaians carved an elaborate temple complex deep beneath the surface, only to have their civilization obliterated by a catastrophic force, scattering survivors and sealing away unimaginable treasures in the process. For generations, treasure hunters have ventured into these subterranean ruins seeking fortune and knowledge, though few have emerged to tell what lies below. Hammerhand now faces the same dangerous descent, tasked with uncovering the temple's secrets and navigating its lethal depths to claim the riches within.
