About This Game

A newly assigned operative arrives at Moscow's Department P during a precarious moment when the Soviet intelligence apparatus itself has become a target of internal investigation. Tasked with solving the murder of a private detective named Golitsin, the protagonist must navigate a labyrinth of competing loyalties and hidden agendas while questioning whether trusted figures—including a mysterious Uncle Vanya who knows more than he reveals about a family tragedy—are potential allies or adversaries. Suspicion runs rampant within the KGB's ranks, with whispers of plots that may reach as high as the leadership itself, leaving the operative isolated and vulnerable. Time is critical, as uncovering the conspiracy behind Golitsin's death becomes a race against discovery, where one misstep could prove fatal in an organization defined by paranoia and betrayal.
