Casablanca ni Ai wo: Satsujinsha wa Jikuu o Koete

Released1986
In spite of its title, the game has little to do with the famous movie Casablanca beyond a few loose references. It is a text adventure with graphics, in which the player types text commands to interact with the environment. Several useful commands (including Look, Search, Take and Knock) can be accessed directly through function keys. Limited navigation between screens can be performed with directional arrows.

About This Game

A female journalist named Jerry Randolph stumbles upon the mysterious disappearance of her former classmate May Elgar while investigating a cryptic diary in 1945 Chicago. The clues lead her to discover that May's father had been developing an ambitious scientific endeavor before his sudden death, leaving behind an extraordinary invention. Driven by the need to uncover the truth about her friend's fate and the crimes that surrounded it, Jerry activates the time machine the late Dr. Elgar created, propelling herself back three decades to 1916 to track down those responsible.
