Edelweiss, a diviner, breaks a sacred rule by striking a bargain with Lucifrid, a spider spirit from beyond the mortal realm, in a desperate bid to rescue her closest companion. As the unlikely pair works to seize dominion over the shadow forces lurking within their school, they catch the eye of Ilya, an exorcist bent on destroying the apparition and freeing Edelweiss from her supernatural obligation.
