Izumo Hiroki escapes the metropolitan grind by returning to his rural hometown for summer break, where only his grandmother awaits him—his parents having already relocated away. Plagued by an inexplicable curse that summons rain whenever he arrives, Hiroki barely outpaces a downpour as he makes his way home, only to find his childhood friend Inaba Usaki drenched and waiting for him. With Usaki moving in for the season, the two settle into close quarters, and Hiroki finds himself drawn to her warmth and spirited nature in ways he never anticipated. What begins as nostalgic rekindling gradually deepens into something more profound as the summer unfolds between them.
