Beignet, recognizing that her protégé Kashou Minaduki has everything needed to run a great patisserie, closes La Soleil's French location and entrusts Fraise — the catgirl she raised — to his care. Fraise arrives with genuine affection for Kashou, but finds herself immediately bewildered by his six catpanion household. She turns to Shigure for advice. Shigure, as it happens, has her own quiet feelings for Kashou that she has never acted on. Two very different ideas about what love and loyalty require are about to collide in a competition neither of them intended to enter.
