Zero Wing

Released1989
Zero Wing is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game, notable for a poorly translated English version for Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) that spawned the "All your base are belong to us" Internet meme. About This Game

In 2101, a fragile peace accord between humanity and CATS—a powerful alien cyborg entity—collapses when the extraterrestrial aggressor seizes control of Japan's orbital settlements in a sudden betrayal. Trent commands the ZIG, one of the few starfighters to survive the destruction of the allied mothership, and must navigate hostile space to strike back against overwhelming enemy forces. Driven by the need to avenge fallen comrades and reclaim Earth from occupation, Trent embarks on a dangerous campaign to dismantle CATS' expanding grip on human territory.
